take the thruway to the interstate and go south, leave late at night to miss traffic

Take I-95 south into NC then take I-40 west towards Raleigh stay on I-40 then I-40 and I-85 merge as you get past Durham stay on I-85 you will see a sign that says Charlotte once you get into greensboro which is still I-85 you pretty much take I-85 all the way into Charlotte it's a simple trip but very long.
