Why do so many germans travel from Munich to Charlotte, NC?
I flew Lufthansa back and forth between those cities. Airbus A340-600 Loaded both ways. There's a BMW plant in Munich and one in SC, could that be the answer? Geography - 1 Answers

That could be part of it. Another is that Lufthansa is a Star Alliance member and there are direct flights into Charlotte Douglas International which is USAirway's largest hub, who are also Star Alliance member
