Residents of Charlotte,North Carolina: I have a question?
I will be traveling to Charlotte in a few months.It was suggested to stay at the Westin,but if I am unable,what other hotels are near to the Westin? Thanks for your help. Words & Wordplay - 1 Answers

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Center City in Charlotte a few weeks ago and it's very nice. This hotel within walking distance to many restaurants and Bobcat's arena is practically next door. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was great and they have a very nice bar also. For breakfast we walked next door to Merts and had a wonderful meal. The evening of our stay we walked the short distance to Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery and tried a few of the beers made there. We didn't eat there but it looked great. Many hotels are nestled close together in the center of downtown with the Westin being more on the outer edge of central Charlotte. So, if you want to be closer to places to eat or shop, the central part of town is best for that. Any of those hotels would be great I would expect, but my most recent experience has been with the Holiday Inn Center City.
