I need ideas on something to do for a 5yr olds Birthday in Charlotte, NC area?
My sons 5th birthday is 4/19-- we just had his party last weekend but are looking for something fun to do in the area the day of his birthday. We are in the Charlotte, NC area and don't mind traveling a small amount as we spent the day last year at the Children's Museum in Columbia, SC. Any ideas on a fun day for him? You could take him to the rec center with his friends and maybe you could even take him and a few boys to a movie like Firehouse Dog, Maybe you could also just go to the park and have a bbq with his friends and family.

when my brother turned five we went to a little play area kinda thing where there were loads of slides and stuff i think it was called a jungle gym. If you find your self really stuck with things to do have you tried asking the five year old what he would like to do. This way you know that he/she will enjoy whatever you decide to do.

Try Concord it's no farther then Columbia and they have a NASCAR speedway my boys 5 and 6 loved it.What about Caowinds never been but I drive by every time I go to visit my grandmother And it looks fun.
