probably around 8.50/hour. they may offer some benefits, or bonuses to store managers....i doubt there are travel requirements except for DMs, corporate, and possibly while training- if a new store is yet to open....

It depends on position you apply for. Sales associate will be probably minimum wage up to $9 per hour starting, bonuses will depend on store performance, and travel is will none unless you're upper management. But then you're salaried and work 50 hours a week.

take the thruway to the interstate and go south, leave late at night to miss traffic

Take I-95 south into NC then take I-40 west towards Raleigh stay on I-40 then I-40 and I-85 merge as you get past Durham stay on I-85 you will see a sign that says Charlotte once you get into greensboro which is still I-85 you pretty much take I-85 all the way into Charlotte it's a simple trip but very long.

thats is very simple it 1 road 95 north until you hit the geogr washington bridge and you have arrived. i think its like 6 or 7 hours

You're going to have to either fly, or rent a car and drive it. Other options would include Greyhound (bus) and Amtrak (train) , but both will be slow along that route (and will not allow you to stop along the way and visit).

The train is about 2 hours and change if my memory is correct. I don't know about the bus. You could check Amtrack and bus line schedules. That would tell you. Some trips take longer than others, with different stops, and different times at those stops.

It is 2 hours by train, by bus there are 4 different routes through the triad, some run through high point and down 85 the best is to find one that jumps straight on 40 to 85....

That could be part of it. Another is that Lufthansa is a Star Alliance member and there are direct flights into Charlotte Douglas International which is USAirway's largest hub, who are also Star Alliance member

I have a trip from Puerto Rico to Charlotte North Carolina on Saturday... I called US Airways to see what I can do to cancel my trip but they want to charge me 150 dollars for each ticket. $150, or your LIFE? I'd rather pay the $150 than even take the chance. I've flown alot, from USA to Thailand and back. But I will never fly again, its just not safe. I think people should boycott the airlines until they invest more money into safety and make accidents nearly impossible. I'd rather spend the extra money and take cruises everywhere instead. SkyDog, I disagree. Pilots do make errors, they are not always perfect. Its easy for me to say "I have gotten in a car and have not died yet, so nobody dies in car crashes". It is crazy to ignore the fact that a perfectly good airbus disintegrated over the sea just a few months ago killing all 228 aboard. We've had over 50 planes crash in the past 9 years due to Pilot Error. 8 from Weather. http://www.planecrashinfo.com/cause.htm I was on a jet through a monsoon in Thailand a few years ago, the last time I flew. Now I was fine, but then a few weeks later at the same airport I landed at, another plane crashed and killed 89 people due to the weather. http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,22435391-5012747,00.html Nothing is impossible.

If the conditions are not safe the pilot will make the decision not to conduct the flight. They are more knowledgeable in this area than you. They will not knowingly put their passengers lives, their aircraft and their own lives in unnecessary risky situations. With that said I have flown aircraft closer to hurricanes that your flight will ever get and I am perfectly fine. There is nothing to worry about.

depending on where and what time usually between 10 to 15 mins

It all depends on what time you leave the airport. For example, I came back from the West coast last year, and I took the red eye. Bad idea. My flight landed at 7 AM, right in the middle of rush hour traffic. It took me like 30 minutes! Other times, I have landed in the afternoon or evening, and I got there in 10 minutes. Maybe even less than that. It all depends on what time your flight comes in, and where you park. I try to find out ahead of time where my flight is going to land, and park close to that Concourse. Also, if your renting a car, you will next to take a shuttle to get to the rental car facility, takes about 10 minutes.

Do you know anybody that works in the airline? Where are you it might not be too far.

You need to find someone who works for an airline. If you can't afford to go, you better hope you are good friends with an airline emploee. You might want to explore a stand by ticket, or try proiceline and name your price. These passes are given to employees and they do not give them away easily.
